a somewhat disappointing experience
little natural light noticeable noise
our room overlooked an inner courtyard. this meant we had very little natural light. the noise from neighboring rooms was also quite noticeable. i could hear conversations and movement at almost any time of day. the air conditioning struggled to keep up during the warmer hours. it..

valuables safe efficient housekeeping nearby shops comfortable pillows
The room had a safe for valuables. The daily housekeeping was efficient. I liked the hotel's proximity to many shops. The beds featured very comfortable pillows, which improved my sleep quality. Breakfast had variety of options.
The gym equipment looked somewhat dated, so I skipped my workout.

Breakfast includes various options, from fresh fruit to pastries. I enjoyed the convenience of starting my day right in the hotel, it made the morning rush less stressful. Hot food is also available. The variety suited different dietary needs.

The hotel is near many shops. It allowed quick access to essentials and some enjoyable browsing. The hotel is just off a main avenue. I found it easy to access different parts of the city from there.

Daily housekeeping maintained a very clean environment. The staff was ready to help with directions. They made navigation much easier. They were always smiling and available. I felt welcomed each time I interacted with them.

spiral staircase easy access
I found a spiral staircase inside the lobby. I also noted the lobby itself was a beautiful welcome. The location had easy access to transportation. Multiple options for food and drink were nearby.
The hotel did seem outdated.

distant location dinner absence
The staff were helpful (especially the older gentleman at check-in). The hotel had a traditional charm.
The location was a bit out of the way. Walking to the port required some effort. Breakfast cost extra if you didn't book it for the entire week. The hotel did not offer dinner service.
